Capturing Architecture with Life

There’s something truly magical about summer — the colors are more vivid, the produce is fresher, and everything seems to burst with energy and flavor. It’s a season that invites us to slow down, savor the moment, and gather around beautiful, seasonal meals. As a Norfolk Commercial Food and Product Photographer, I look forward to this time of year because it gives me the opportunity to capture images that feel warm, vibrant, and full of life — both in color and in spirit.

Whether it’s a rustic table lined with just-picked heirloom tomatoes and juicy peaches, a basket of berries fresh from the farmer’s market, or a glass of chilled rosé catching the glow of golden hour, summer offers a naturally rich backdrop.

Kitchens in Focus

Kitchens are more than just functional spaces — they’re the beating heart of any home or restaurant. From family meals to fine dining, they’re where design, craftsmanship, and emotion intersect. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing a wide range of kitchens — from intimate residential remodels to world-class commercial spaces, including some of the most celebrated restaurants in the country.

As a Norfolk Commercial Photographer, I bring both a technical and storytelling approach to every project, showcasing not just the details of the space, but the atmosphere it creates.

Use Your Cookbook Club

I decided to participate in the Use Your Cookbook Club. An ingredient is selected by @hungry_fifi and you have 10 days to make a any recipe uses that ingredient from one of your cookbooks. The ingredient was sage. I made spaghetti with a prosciutto, butter, sage, and parmigiano sauce from Spaghetti Sauces by Biba Caggiano. It was a great way to use the sage.
