The Commonwealth Room

I am looking forward to being able to gather with friends once the social distancing is over. One gorgeous place to go would be the newly renovated Commonwealth Room at the Founder's Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach. In photographing commercial real estate, everyone thinks it involves office buildings, but many times its great spaces that are for gathering with friends. The architecture in the Commonwealth Room is beautiful, and the detail of the wood bar is spot on. I, of course, am partial to the red couches and love the library feel of the bar.
