Interchange Cold Storage

A new project for ARCO construction located in Mt Crawford, Virginia, about three hours from Norfolk: this facility accepts cold storage by both truck and rail. The rail line is part of the new addition, and I used the drone to follow the new rail line to the bay doors. Photographing at -40 degrees is new for me but a great experience. I couldn't believe the number of trucks coming loading up and leaving the facility in the few hours I was photographing. 

ARCO installed large solar panels to take advantage of the flat roof and sun exposure to help offset the energy to the freezers.
